Let me tell you mine.
My name is Ava, a professional photographer, coffee addict, traveler, & Jesus follower.
I started my journey in professional photography several years ago when friends asked me to take some photos "just for fun", and the rest is history! Daydream Photography was officially launched, and since then, we have expanded, even in different states! From wedding days, to newborn photos, and every daydream in-between, I've had the privilege to be a part of my client's most precious moments. It's my greatest honor!
As a Photographer....
The most common thing that I hear my clients say is, "I am so awkward in front of the camera". As a photographer, I aim to make my clients feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. We talk a lot, we laugh, and we capture moments that you can only dream of. What I get to do is truly the joy of my heart. For me, it's more than just catching the perfect moment. It's getting to know the people I serve and hearing their unique story. Everyone has a story, and I get to hear so many. How cool is that?
I am a down to earth human, and I love getting to know people, especially over a cup of coffee on a perfect weather kinda day. I love to talk, laugh, and have fun.
I wear my heart on my sleeve, so you will know a lot about me within the first moments of meeting me, and I am probably going to ask you all the questions about your favorite things in life. Some may see it as weird, however I see it as the best way to relate to people. I currently work at UAB hospital in Birmingham, AL as a NICU nurse. While I am working, I am also pursuing a masters degree to be a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Ultimately, my goal is pursue medical missions and work in other countries while also getting to travel. I love flowers and walks outside, especially on the beach in Biloxi, MS where part of my heart will always be. A piece of my heart belongs in Zambia, Africa where some of my favorite people are. I love my family and they are my biggest supporters, greatest joy, best travel companions, best source of laughter, and I love them so much it hurts. I enjoy concerts and outings with my close circle of friends such as grabbing coffee, thrift shopping, or other enjoyable activities. Lastly, my faith in Jesus Christ is the center of my life, and my foundation is rooted in His Word. It is the foundation of all that I do, say, and think. My life is beautiful, and there is absolutely nothing about it I would change.
